PadPressed, Wordpress Plugin for iPad-friendly Blog

PadPressed for iPad

A wordpress plugin has just been released for the webmasters that use wordpress platform and want access their blog using iPad device. Named PadPressed, this wordpress plugin created by Jason Baptiste, with the goal of keeping the blog can be accessed with iPad features. The iPad features are such as "swipe to advance" articles, touch navigation, home screen icon, and accelerometer positioning.

PadPressed highly profitable for blog readers as you do not need to download anything to access the wordpress blog. On the other hand, PadPressed is also able to detect the iPad orientation, when the readers read the blog in Portrait, the blog will display an article as a single column. If rotated into Landscape mode, the article is automatically turned into three separate columns.

PadPressed also allows you to switch categories by tapping large icons for a specific category. This is a manifestation that PadPressed support touch-based navigation for iPad. As a new plugin, PadPressed still has many shortcomings, therefore PadPressed still need a lot of fine tuning. Nevertheless, Baptiste is the greatest boon to webmasters who want to optimize their web to be more easily accessible anywhere, even though iPad.
