[Tutorial] Activate Multitouch Gestures on Jailbroken iPhone 4 iOS 4.3 GM




If you are the owner of iPad with iOS 4.3, I think you already knew that Multitouch gestures is very nice for you to switch anything like go to homescreen, switch between apps, and allows to bring you the multitasking docks. How about the iPhone 4? Is it possible to enable Multitouch gestures on iPhone 4 device?

The important thing for activate Multitouch gestures on iPhone 4 is you need to jailbreaking your iphone 4 and install iOS 4.3 GM on it. Follow the step by step below to enable iPad’s iOS 4.3 gesture on your iPhone 4 in jailbroken iphone:


Step 1. Launch Cydia app on your jailbroken iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3 then install OpenSSH on your device.

Step 2: Browse on your iPhone's SSH to System->Library->CoreServices->SpringBoard.app->N90.plist

Step 3: Use TextWrangler as text editor to edit the N90.plist file

Step 4: Now the important step is you must add a Boolean statement as “multitasking-gestures”.

Step 5: After add the multitasking-gestures, you need to set “True” as its value.

Step 6: Save all change and you need to restart the Springboard.

Now you are done. To set your Multitouch Gestures option, just go to Settings.app file on your iPhone 4 by tap it to turn on. It is nice share how to enable multitasking Gestures on iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3 GM.
