How To Show Photos By Location on iPhone

As iPhone and ipad 3G users, I think you are familiar with geo tagging on these iDevices. Some of iOS apps will ask you to "allow" or don't "allow" location services. But for default app like "Photos" app, you will see that you have get "Places" feature in this default iOS app. What is it?

The "Places" feature in the Photos app is default iOS app which allow you to see photos based on geographical location. Just make sure you enable internet connection and location service on your iPhone or iPad. Here the simple guide how to use a "Places" feature from your iOS homescreen:

Step 1. Tap "Photos" on your homescreen -> Tap "Places" on the bottom (right beside "Albums")

Step 2. You will see "Pins" on Google Map. Just zoom on the Google Map you want to "show pins" for specific regions. The photos was tagged there.

Step 3. Tap a "red pin" then your idevice will show you a photo count which taken from that specific regions -> Tap the "blue arrow" -> You will see camera roll with photos which taken from that location.

As I told you before, make sure you have connected to the internet and enable locations service to get this feature on Photos app in iOS Device (iPhone and iPad).
